有两个金发碧眼的女郎到加州去避暑.

There were two blondes going to California for the summer.

上飞机约两个小时后，飞行员通过机内扬声器说，我们刚刚失去了一个发动机，不过没关系，还有另外三个，但我们要晚一个小时到达目的地。

They were about two hours into the flight and the pilot got on the intercom and said that they had just lost an engine but it was still all right as they had three more, and it would take them an hour longer.

半个小时后，飞行员又说，我们刚才又失去了一个发动机，但也没关系，我们还有两个发动机，只是还要再晚点半个小时。

A half hour later the pilot got on the intercom again and said that they had just lost another engine, but it was still all right as they had two more, and it would take them another half hour.

其中一个女郎说：“如果最后两个发动机也失去了的话，我们不是要在天上呆一整天吗？”

One of the blondes says "If we lose the two last engines, we will be up here all day."
